Hanna's Meatcake

Hanna also gave me an awesome schematic for something called 'Animal Fantastic', which I am TOTALLY going to make:

"And here is the reciep for Animal fantastic ( a misspelling from the mediveal times, they think it comes from fantasty animal).

"First you you need two chicken, open then in the back and removed the spine, then remove all the bones from the chikcen, with thin bladed knife, the birs must be intact. The wings can just be removed and then stiched closed.

"Now you need the stuffing, about 3 cups of grated dark rye bread, 3 cups of dried frutis and nuts of you liking, spinkle a litte clove, cinnamon and black peppar over the mix.

"Lay the two deboned chickenson on top of each other, so the butt mets the others neck, it shoudl look like run over cat now, saw the birds toghter and stuff it full of stuffing. Try to push the Legs in to more animal like postion . ( i failed this) and tie them up with strings. Brush the weird animal with melted honey and saffron . Bake at 400 F for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, make sure the birds doesn't burn.

"During this time take larges turnip or potatoe or sweet potatoe and carve a head.

"When the Animal is cooked you may put almonds slivers as scale on it and try to arrange nice on a plate. You can use kale as taile if you want to, just make it look liek fanasty animal. You make need to bake the turnip so doesn't goo dringy at plate but you coudl also brush it with lemon or vingear, the head is not for eating, jsut for show.

"Mine looked like a dead guinea pig.

"Well that recipe , you coudl do small paws to and make look even weird."
