"Yes, bacon roses. Basically, you cook the bacon about half-done on each side, then remove from pan and let sit until you can just barely stand to touch it, then roll it up so it is at least an Impressionist rose. Stick half a toothpick through it. When you have as many as you want, return to frying pan and finish cooking bacon. Drain and
store until needed. Remove toothpicks before putting the bacon on the cake."
