"Just thought we'd write to say thank you for inspiring us with your excellent meat cake, and to show you our attempts :o)

"We saw your creation after following a link from the JengaJam web site, and thought we'd like to give it a try when both sets of parents came around for a visit last weekend.

"Expanding on the idea of a cake that was really more of a main course, we decided to give them a complete 'backwards meal' "

"Based on your idea, we used various types of burger (for speed, and because we'd never tried making a meatloaf before) stacked 2 high and covered with instant mashed potato.
